SAQA Accredited Professional Designation Offered by the Institute

PMM: Professional Municipal Manager 

The designation is awarded to persons who meet the essential competencies and formal requirements necessary for employment as a municipal manager within any local, district or metropolitan municipality in South Africa. These inter alia include – 

a.    A management orientated bachelor’s degree – NQF 6 or above. 
b.    MFMP - Municipal Finance Management Programme: SAQA no. 48965
c.    Ten years or more senior management experience in local government.
d.    Key competencies associated with the role of a Municipal Manager. (Read More)
